Redesigning the unique and versatile VHD preamp technology of the large format studio console SSL Duality, the module of the same name adapted to the 500 format to integrate it into your configuration brings extreme flexibility to your sound sockets. It offers quality recordings SSL SuperAnalogue TM and features a switchable VHD mode.

The VHD mode (Variable Harmonic Drive, or Variable Harmonic Distortion) uses a 100% analog signal path to generate rich harmonic distortion and thus color your signal more or less intensely. You can thus increase the VHD input gain to introduce a harmonic distortion of 2nd or 3rd order, but also mix both to your source.

Depending on the setting you attribute to the "Drive", the sound obtained can transcribe a heat shower of type lamp or transistor, but can be dreadfully grunge and aggressive to a more extreme dosage. This VHD+ module can transform your tracks and color according to your wishes, to bring more versatility than a preamplifier could offer.
