The Xone:DB2 like the DB:4 (range console with 4 channels) has an input matricing where any audio source can be affected on any channel. Different treatments
It was one of the most anticipated products, and after several teasers and rumors, Allen & Heath confirmed the release of the little sister of the Xone:DB4, the DJ Xone:DB2 console.
The Allen & Heath Xone DB2 digital mixer has a sophisticated and high-quality effect engine for advanced sound source manipulation, developed for iLive pro tour systems but set for a DJ application
4-channel console, each with a routing switch to the main matrix, or both effect sections. It also controls the assignment of crossfader.
Input matrix with possibility to connect 4 analog sources, 4 USB or 2 digital sources.
2 multi-effect engines, each with 5 types of effects based on the iLive console section and optimized for DJs: delays, reverbs, modulators, resonators and Damage. Each section also has a assignable patch bank (variations).
A filter is also present on the output of each effect bank and each section has a dedicated expression control and wet/dry level setting
EQ “Trimodal” of the DB4, which can be configured as a standard asymmetric (+6/-25dB), Total Kill (+6dB/Off with a slope of 24dB/octave) or as a pass/pass filter with adjustable resonance.
1 micro track switchable online/stereo with EQ 2 strips, gain controls, cue and mix level. It can also be transferred to the main mix or effect sections.
Master section with controls of the main mix, booth level and two effect sections.
OLED displaying the effect selection and the BPM
Possibility to choose the type of measurement, the tempo range, the USB routing diagram and adjust the light intensity of the screen.
Helmet exit.
Built-in USB 2 card that allows the reading and recording of 4 consignments and 4 stereo returns from the computer.
All controls (except microphone and headphone levels) send MIDI data and a MIDI Shift function can be activated by a button to turn the console into a MIDI controller. The effects controls can then send MIDI data without changing the mixing parameters.
The Digital DJ Mixer Allen & Heath Xone:DB2 realizes the creative potential that only digital processing can offer with an improved effect engine with algorithms optimized for dance tracks.
Allen & Heath Xone DB2 offers an infinite number of possibilities thanks to its two DSP effects engines. The DSP effect motors, offer 5 types of effects with more than 50 presets including delays, loopers, reverbs, resonance, modulation and damage, with possible additions with future firmware updates.
The Xone DB2 has a complete input matrix that can send the same signal to several tracks for unique sound manipulations, a Trimodal equalization with Kill modes, standard asymmetric, and filters, as well as a high visibility OLED screen, a light MIDI control chassis and finally an audio interface of studio quality.
