MAUI 44

The MAUI 44 is the high-end model (1600 W effective!) of the MAUI family signed LD Systems; its frequency response ranges from 40 Hz to 20 kHz, and its maximum peak peak SPL level is 129 dB SPL. Convenient especially to musicians, DJs, solo artists and stationary applications, this compact column sound system ensures exceptional sound performance and has many features.

Made of 15 mm ball plywood with a particularly solid and wear-resistant thickness, the low-passenger box is equipped with two 12" neodymium magnet boomers, powered by two Hypex modules with separate cutting power supplies. The 4 frequency registers separated from the vertical column, amplified separately in 4 x Class D, are returned by a total of sixteen full-range speakers of 3.5" (88 mm) with neodymium magnet, whose cast alloy salads integrate radiators, and two 1" tweeters" Celestion loaded by a wave guide.

The MAUI 44 is equipped with inputs on Combo connector (XLR / jack 6,35 mm) and RCA. The level of the bass box is set independently of the Master level, which allows to achieve a perfect balance between crystalline aigus, present mediums and powerful seriouss, in any situation. The digital LECC signal processing (Limiter, Equalizer, Compressor & Crossover), an exclusive LD Systems, combined with two limiters, ensures a sound devoid of any distortion and wide dynamics, while various short circuit protection, over-intensity and over-intensities ensure reliable, safe use.

Designed to be easily transportable, the complete MAUI 44 system (lower box + aluminium column) weighs less than 60 kg. Proprietary multi-point connectors reduce assembly time, while the insensitivity of the system in Larsen and its extremely wide horizontal dispersion over 120° avoid the use of dedicated scene returns.
