The Fireface UFX+ becomes the central part of any professional studio requiring exceptional treatment on many tracks, thanks to its 94 input/output channels. With unprecedented flexibility and compatibility, the integration of DURec functionality (Direct USB Recording) and the famous hardware and driver designs with low latency RME, the Fireface UFX+ pushes the limits once again.
Featuring features that are not found on his older sister, including E/S MADI (188 channels of E/S, 128 channels more than Fireface UFX), a more powerful DSP, USB 3.0, ThunderboltTM technology and a new optional remote control places the option RME Fireface UFX+ as the new reference in multitrack recording, mixing and monitoring.
Its flexibility in connectivity and extension is unmatched - Analogue, ADAT, MADI, AES, SPDIF. The USB 2, USB 3 and Thunderbolt technologies are standard on the Fireface UFX+. It offers an impressive number of channels: 12 analog + 16 ADAT + 2 AES + 64 MADI = 94 input channels plus outputs = 188 channels in total. Thunderbolt technology gives the Fireface UFX+ real performance worthy of a PCI Express card, both on Mac and on Windows, with latency, CPU load and ultra low system overload. The Fireface UFX+ is fully compatible with Thunderbolt technology in Windows.
