The second musical instrument in our TORAIZ range, the AS-1 is a monophonic analog synthesizer that opens up new creative possibilities in the studio and on stage. Among its intuitive controls, the AS-1 offers parameter dials that allow you to make both subtle and deep modulations in your music, to create your own personalized sounds. Additionally, you can use the touch pad-style keyboard and slider button to manipulate sounds during your performance

The TORAIZ AS-1 uses a real fully programmable synthetic engine based on the independent analog circuit of the Dave Smith Instruments Prophet-6 synthesizer. It also inherits 7 integrated effects of the Prophet-6 and presents a whole new digital distortion.

  In close collaboration with Dave Smith in person, we created a synth that produces powerful analog sounds. The TORAIZ AS-1 is an ideal complement for professional and beginner production facilities.

  • SON ANALOGIQUE PROPHET-6

    The AS-1 is based on the same analog filters as Dave Smith's famous Prophet-6 synthesizer. It has 2 voltage controlled oscillators (VCO) with continuously variable triangle, sawtooth and pulse waves. Sculpt your sound using its 2 voltage-controlled filters (VCF), its 4-pole resonance low-pass filter which can oscillate on its own, and its 2-pole resonance high-pass filter.

    • FULLY PROGRAMMABLE

      Use the TORAIZ AS-1 to create unique sounds using 2 VCO, 2 VCF, the VCA, 2 EG and 1 LFO, then save each sound and its parameters as a program, so that you can access it instantly later.

      • 495 PRESETS

        The 495 preset programs each have a different sound and a 64-step sequence that can be modified separately, so you can best express your creativity. You can also save up to 495 of your own programs in the 5 user banks.

        • PROPHET-6 EFFECTS

          Get creative with the dual effects engine derived from the Prophet-6, and use a single effect or pair two to add more texture to your sounds. The synthesizer offers, among other things, Bucket Brigade Delay, Distortion, Ring Modulation, Chorus and Maestro Phaser effects.

          • KEYBOARD AND ARPE MODEGE

            With the TORAIZ AS-1, always play the sounds you create with the touchpad keyboard in perfect harmony, or change the notes assigned to the keys using Arpeggio Mode.

            • CURSOR BUTTON

              Add dynamics to your performance using the cursor button to manipulate 7 different settings. Change the pitch of the 2 oscillators, adjust the amount of effects and more.
