CDL 12

The marriage of line array and point source

The CDL 12 is the result of years of research and development, which demonstrates the effectiveness of an enclosure combining the characteristics of a line array system and a point-source diffusion.

The CDL 12 consists of eight 2" speakers vertically aligned in a arc of segmented circle, dedicated to the diffusion of high frequencies and centered in front of a 12 inch woofer. In this way, the woofer broadcasts sound waves on the same acoustic axis as the HF speaker series, so that the radiation always comes from the centre of the speaker.

The point/line array hybrid design generates a focused diffusion with constant and consistent acoustic pressure in the axis and off-axis, allowing it to adapt to mobile and fixed applications. The clamping of CDL 12 is simplified thanks to the integrated pin attachments. In addition the enclosure offers the possibility of mounting on mast with two different angles, to adapt the installation to the different gauges of public.

Finally, the built-in PDA-1000 amplifier delivers 500W + 500W of Class D power to CDL 12 and offers intuitive configuration and preset system via DSP for the installation of your line array. The Worx Control software for macOS and Windows allows you to control your speakers via LAN network and provides management and equalization tools to get a powerful and remarkable rendering.
