TECHNOLOGIES TO THE NEUTRALITY OF GRAVE

The Sub6 has a subwoofer of 11" (27 cm) with a composite "W" sandwich membrane integrated into a large rear laminar vent box. This design ensures a linearity of the serious regardless of the desired SPL level. For the development of the subwoofer power level, Focal engineers have retained BASH® technology. This solution is the only solution to offer the sound quality of the AB class while having the performance of Class D amplifiers.
REGULATIONS FOR OPTIMAL INTEGRATION

The Sub6 has been developed to allow optimum acoustic coupling with Focal monitoring speakers. It integrates many settings like a stereo high-pass filter (75 Hz – 100 Hz) dedicated to the left and right speakers, a parametrable low-pass filter with mono summation, a phase reverser, an adjustable phase or a MUTE switch. The richness of the connector also allows use in 2.1, 2.2 and multichannel via L/R inputs and outputs and LFE input.

THE "MORE" WHO DIFFERENCE

Important: The Sub6 has a footballswitch entrance. It allows to plug a pedal and has the effect of cutting the subwoofer as well as disableing the filters on the outputs powering the monitors. The footballswitch entry allows you to compare a listening in 2.1 (Sub6 filtered + monitors filtered by Sub6) and 2.0 (subwoofer off + broadband monitors). The comparison is done instantly, by simple pressure on footballswitch, and without the need to move.
