The WA-84 is a small diaphragm capacitor microphone based on the circuit of a classic microphone. Designed and designed on a Class A circuit, the microphone incorporates a Cinemag transformer made in the United States, polystyrene and WIMA capacitors, and a FET Fairchild.
The WA-84 has been developed for professional studio, home-studio, live and broadcast applications, and fits perfectly for the capture of a variety of instruments, such as acoustic and electric guitars, piano, strings, brass and winds, and stereo coupling with references WA-84 OC Stereo Set or WA-84 Stereo Set perfectly suited for stereo capture of percussive instruments, overheads, and other sources or sets of instruments. Moreover, the omnidirectional capsule available at the unit offers the possibility to extend the possibilities of capture, to transform your sound take.
Don't rely on its small size, the WA-84 retaliates an incredibly rich sound and covers a wide spectrum of frequencies. The use of Cinemag transformer in Nickel in its signal path gives it a very warm and wide sound. Its "boutique" design with a vintage style design are recognized for offering a crystalline, soft and wide sound.
