The teams of Solid State Logic have given themselves the task of creating the ultimate and most versatile incarnation of the Compressor Bus to date. Designed faithfully to the original circuit, the Bus+ was built by adding several unique coloring options and advanced processing tools. It can thus be clean and percuting like the SupeAnalog version of the 9000 series, granular and colored like the first 4000 versions, or be used as a saturated and exaggerated parallel compression device on battery buses.

The Bus+ circuit uses high-quality components such as VCA 2181 from THAT Corp., for superior analog performance. Four operating modes and three distinct compression coloring options can be combined for a perfect adaptability to the application you work on. The entire potentiometers on the façade are encrypted and analyzed by a microcontroller that translates the encoder position in the circuit configuration or the required electrical parameter. This innovative approach allows the BUS+ to be used in applications requiring high precision such as mastering work. The integrated D-EQ is a powerful 2-band analog dynamic equalizer that can be positioned upstream or downstream of the compression section.
