J48

The DI Radial J48 is simply the best active DI in the world.

It was optimized to be able to withstand high amplitude signals without saturating using only the 5mA of current typically available on an phantom power supply. The J48 has a cutting power supply that can feed the circuits in 9 Volts!

Most active guitars and bass will provide signals of 7 Volts of maximum volume amplitude. Since most DIs are able to cash about 3 Volts, they saturate. Since the J48 has more headroom, she has no saturation problem. This additional headroom also reduces harmonic, phase and intermodulation distortions.
