When power rhymes with presence
If you are looking for a micro preamplifier whose role will be to improve and shape your sound, thus bringing a color to excite the signal of your audio source and giving it a touch of elegance and presence, then the WA12 MKII will certainly meet your needs.
Indeed, this preamp was designed to "transform" your sound sockets into a bright, detailed and deep rendering. Its discreet ampli-op, the X731, is a reproduction of the classic Melcor 1731, considered by some sound professionals as the most faithful predecessor of the amli-op 2520. The latter can obtain natural and detailed tones, but can also, with a larger gain, bring a more subtle saturation, thus revealing pleasant harmonics to the ear.
Beyond the compacity of its format, hides inside the beast a completely discreet circuit, and the involvement of Cinemag transformers manufactured in the USA offers a careful design, allowing it to compete with many micro preamplifiers of the market.
