Preamplifier 12 multi-function channels
The 12MIC-D is a 12-input, non-compromising digital gain control preamplifier that has a high-resolution A/N conversion with Dante integration, MADI connectivity and a multitude of options designed to make it the ideal companion for any type of professional recording.
This is the first preamplifier RME designed specifically to work in line with the audio network environment. It offers 12 preamplification channels and 75 dB gain at the micro level and accepts line levels up to +18 dBu, with a digital conversion of studio quality, without compromise. The first four channels also allow a Hi-Z switch for sources (instruments) requiring high impedance.
Coaxial and optical MADI inputs/outputs (via a SFP module) are available for independent or redundant operation, and can be used for connection to daisy chain, fusion and conversion of MADI signals with extremely low latency. Three ADAT optical outputs provide up to 24 single-speed audio channels or 12 channels at a 96 kHz sampling rate for better compatibility with most market interfaces. ADAT ports can also be used to send monitoring buses from Dante or MADI inputs.
